Mentoring is not about helping you ask the right questions. It is about answering them.
MENTORING IS ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS, NOT A TRANSACTION
The right mentor is a friend for life. The mentor-mentee relationship is one that transcends mere transaction, one that goes beyond finding answers to topic-specific questions. I have benefited from many mentors throughout my life and my career. They have opened doors for me, taught me how to open my own, put me in front of the right people and presented me with transformative opportunities I didn’t even know how to look for.
Before taking you on as a mentee, we will sit down for free-of-charge interview to asses:
If we are a good match for one another on a personal level. The relationship has to be built on trust, click and flow, which requires dialogue and the chance to share a laugh.
Your current personal and professional situation, the reasons for which you seek a mentor and your goals.
If I believe that I am not the right mentor for you, I will tell you so. And will encourage you to do the same.
WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
My style is extremely down to earth, practical and caring. Looked at through a lens of personal growth or more boots-on-the ground tactical advice, here is where my mentorship will help you grow wings and fly:
Getting you that promotion you’ve been working so hard for.
Helping you transition your career into one of my areas of expertise.
Showing you how to overcome the ‘my boss doesn’t like me’ challenge.
Preparing you for powerful applications and fruitful job interviews.
Building your overall self-confidence and ability to navigate the fabric of your organization to advance your career.
These are the areas I feel most at home in, and have a proven track record of excelling at. But in choosing me, you will find someone who is truly invested in your world, in your success. Someone who has led and is leading teams with the strong belief that we are only as good as the people we help succeed. So if my philosophy resonates with you, but you are facing a challenge I didn’t mention, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am here to help and give back, as my own mentors did for me.
